Below are examples of stair cases and an indication as to which stair lifts would be suitable. Our preferred supplier will visit your home to carry out a survey to ensure a suitable stair lift is fitted.
Suitable Stair lifts: Straight.
The most simple of staircases, and the least expensive to fit a stair lift too.
Suitable Stair lifts: Straight with platform or curved.
A single straight could be fitted with a platform fitted at the top to allow the user to exit without having to climb the last steps from the turn landing. Discuss with our preferred supplier to see if suitable, as this option is not always suitable.
Suitable Stair lifts: 2 x straight or curved.
This staircase would be suitable for either two straight stair lifts or a curved. If two straight lifts are installed the user will need to transfer from one to another on the middle landing.
Suitable Stair lifts: curved.
This staircase lends itself to a curved stair lift.
