I can only walk a few yards at a time due to my COPD but since having my Scooter I can now get out more more...
shopping and visiting freinds and relations, it has made my life so much easier and I feel that I want to go out more now.

means that I can enjoy family holidays, and on this occasion join in with beach activities, including chasing my 4-year-old granddaughter!

This is me when I received my new scooter!
Since then I have felt rather like more...
a knight (alas no shining armour) on my trusty steed! I has given me a new sense of freedom, getting me, again, to all the areas & places I used to visit & shop! Actually it also does it in less time than it used to take me by public transport (waiting time for buses included)!

What my mobility scooter means to me:
The difference my mobility scooter has made to my quality of life is more...
immeasurable. From being almost house bound I am now,'' As a pipe for any wind to play upon''.
  • I can go where the fancy takes me, a freedom once lost has now been refound.
  • I can go to National Trust Properties and be mobile and enjoy the grounds like everyone else..
  • I can now go out with my Grandson when he goes on bicycle rides and walks and take a more active part in his wonderful life.
  • I can go out with my family without them having to worry about my mobility problems.
  • It allows me to go out in the fresh air and sunshine and meet new friends.
  • To go shopping in my mobility scooter is now a pleasure. I no longer have to rely on others.
  • My mobility scooter means I'm free and happy.
